Lotrek and I want extend our warmest respects and gratitude! 500% funding is a fantastic number to feel great about and there's still 25 days to go!
New Stretch Goal Unlocked!
We're happy to announce that we are upgrading our Ocean and Dusk editions with Metallic inks on front AND backs of the cards. It will add a nice sheen and shine to cards and an extra bit of luxury to the cards! This increases the value of all of those decks at no additional cost to any backer!

Funded in 4 minutes! The amazing first chapter of The Tale of the Tempest!

A couple of fantastic statistics to go over! Not only did the Tale of the Tempest fund in 4 minutes but we achieved more funding in 22 minutes than our previous campaign, The Parlour, did in 24 HOURS! As of the writing of this update the Tempest (for short) is already more than 443% funded!
This means we've unlocked quite a bit of stretch goals! For one thing The Midnight edition is definitely happening (150% goal)--I admit we felt confident enough on this to show it to everyone beforehand! Next, we unlocked gold foil inner tuck box graphics for ALL decks. Knowing Lotrek's outstanding print work I'm sure this will be an amazing addition to already gorgeous tuck boxes. Next, we unlocked --as yet unrevealed-- custom designed Tempest brick boxes. Also to be printed by Lotrek so no doubt these will be gorgeous! Plus, we unlocked the numbered seal for the Midnight edition. We are going to reveal that a little later (we have some other things to reveal first), but it will be like the seal on the Black and Gold Parlour deck, which is to say a seal on the bottom of the tuck box. What's to reveal at 500%? Well initially we had plans to put the Treasured Edition of the Tempest here but things happened so quickly that we haven't finished prototyping it! It is coming though rest assured! We will definitely have something to announce at 500%. ...and 600%. And more....
MORE REVEALS THAN A GREAT MAGIC TRICK
Speaking of revelations! The first thing on our list is to present the Tempest Jokers. Lotrek and I are hard at work on these. We have some fantastic ideas and I'm sure they will be spectacular. After that we will have an ad card reveal. Then we will show interior tuck box graphics and the brick box after that! Plenty of stuff to show and announce in the coming days! Expect updates pretty regularly! Including information on how to get the new limited decks. NOTE: Complete Tempest Premium Tier Backers need not worry. You're locked in to receive one of every limited deck we produce.
THE FIRST TGW LIVESTREAM
On top of the tremendous success of the campaign launch, we had our first ever livestream on The Gentleman Wake channel yesterday and it was an amazing time for all involved! Lotrek and I went through a detailed look at the design of the Tempest tuck box and back design--definitely worth the watch if you haven't seen it. Plus you get to see our exasperated reactions as the funding goal was reached and surpassed!
