The End of a LOOOOONG Road.

Dear Valued Backers, I am ecstatic to report that Fulfillment is COMPLETE (with a very few minor exceptions--see below)! This has been an arduous and difficult journey that started over 16 months ago with the launch of The Tale of the Tempest. We've had enormous trials and tribulations along the way but it brings me GREAT JOY to see so many happy backers posting pics and enjoying their rewards! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

That being said, if you are still in the tiny minority of backers who (a) is missing a Wylenti edition deck or two, (b) is waiting on a Tempest in a Bottle, or (c) has had some shipping delays caused by the world wide shipping situation, DON'T WORRY! We got you covered.  Lotrek is cutting and assembling the final batch of Wylenti decks and those should be on the way stateside soon if all goes as planned. At which point those 60 or so backers who are owed Wylenti decks/uncut sheets will receive them.  The Tempest in a Bottle are currently being assembled by Deryn Le and should be ready soon. Finally, if you are still waiting for your rewards due to delayed shipments from carriers or local postal services (like some folks around the world), we are ON TOP of it. I know some backers were worried that the imminent opening of the Webstore would jeopardize the number of limited edition items in stock as to make replacements difficult or impossible... NO NEED TO WORRY. We are putting aside more than enough additional stock to cover the packages still in transit in the unlikely event they will need to be replaced.

ALMOST DONE!!!

I'm excited to report that at last report, all backers have been sent their rewards with a very few minor exceptions (Bottles, Uncut Sheets). WE KNOW that some packages may still be in transit as they make their way to you--but they are coming!

THE GREAT WYLENTI DILEMMA

If you are in North America, and ordered more than one and only receive(d) one TGW Edition deck, don't worry. As I’ve mentioned it in the comments section, evidently when 4 boxes of Wylentis were shipped from Germany to Texas three made it through customs. However, no sign of the fourth. Records indicated customs still processing. This went on for a week. I reached out and was told they would release it. Another few days passed and I reached out again. Evidently they now say that they no longer have it. But it has not showed up yet. So it may be lost or damaged. Rather than wait for the box to arrive we immediately began working on a solution. In order to get backers their rewards as soon as possible I authorized Gamblers to ship out a minimum of one Wylenti deck to every backer who ordered them with their rewards. While we scrambled to get more decks to Texas. Luckily Lotrek has the uncut sheets necessary to replace the missing decks. And he is working on getting them ready asap. The replacements will go out at our shipping expense of course. Sorry for this. Only about 60 backers were affected. Don't fret if you are one of them, you will get your remaining rewards soon--but I just wanted to get packages ship and decks in your hands!

If you got your Tempest rewards and thought "Dang, I wish I'd gotten more!" your chance is coming very soon. I'm in the middle of finishing up the backend on the new TGW webstore.  We will have Ocean, Dusk, Midnight, Treasured, Dynastinae and more in stock as WELL as Parlour decks.  [No Prisms (I know you were going to ask) or Wylentis (for now)].

A much needed update

Time for an update...

We hope everyone is having a fantastic 2022... the Tale of the Tempest campaign had a rough start to the new year... MANY of you have already received your decks but there is a sizeable number of you in North America (US and CAN) that have yet to receive decks although you got tracking numbers a while back. Don't worry they are coming! We had an inventory issue that needed to be solved. Some decks that were sent to Germany were actually intended for Texas (Gambler's Warehouse) and the global shipping situation was such that even Air Freight took much longer than anticipated. The decks (some 400 or Wylenti Decks) have now arrived in Texas and are awaiting shipment.

The reason some of you have stagnant tracking info is because of the nature of how Gambler's Warehouse goes about shipping/fulfilling campaigns. Once they have all the items in question and the project comes up in the queue they print/prepare all the labels for every backer. Hence why so many labels are 'created' but not yet showing up in the system. The problem here was the aforementioned delay caused by the decks being sent from Germany to Texas. This had the unwanted side effect of once again delaying fulfillment a bit because--as you can imagine-- Gambler's is a busy place with a lot of projects to fulfill. They simply moved on to fulfill other projects while awaiting the decks to arrive. So we got bumped back into the queue. I've been told that the decks will be shipping out again shortly if not already. I've been trying to maintain daily contact with the staff at Gambler's. 

I'm very sorry that this has dragged on this long. But please don't fret. Your rewards WILL be delivered. Our only hope is that when you finally see the rewards in hand the quality will literally make you forget about the delays! But I won't soon forget. This experience has taught me some painful and important lessons.

I want to thank you all for your patience and support once again. I can only ask for your continued understanding. YOU WILL RECEIVE your rewards!

So close to the end!

Okay, if you are in North America and are jealous of everyone else getting their decks first, RELIEF is imminent. I've been assured by Gambler's Warehouse that fulfillment for Tempest is NEXT on their docket and will begin this week. 

For the rest of you NOT in North America, you should have (a) received your decks, (b) be awaiting the decks with tracking info or (c) contacted Deallez Fulfillment or me with any issues. If for WHATEVER reason you have an issue please don't hesitate to reach out to me via PM. Any shipping issues can be resolved by emailing [email protected]. 

The Tempest in a Bottle decks

If you are one of the ten people who ordered Tempest in a Bottle decks, those are COMING! They will be shipped separately from the remainder of your rewards. Please be patient, as the decks take a while to impossibly fit in a bottle! ;) (Reason for the delay is that the decks had to be shipped to the individual who bottles them).

I will be giving away a Tempest Prism unnumbered ARTIST PROOF signed by myself to one lucky winner. What do you have to do? Easy! Post pictures of your tempest decks on social media! Shipping Update!

Rest-of-world fulfillment begins! 

The packages are going out as I type this. Please note many of you have or will receive tracking info directly from Deallez, our R-O-W fulfillment partner. 

A note from Deallez:

When the shipping label is created, for all shipments from Deallez, the backer would receive an email with tracking number. Sometimes it lands in the spam folder.

North American *USA, CANADA, MEXICO* Fulfillment imminent. 

The Oath Playing Cards decks have FINALLY (!) cleared customs. Next step they are delivered at Gambler's Warehouse (our North American Fulfillment Partner). They are slated to arrive tomorrow at Gambler's. Unfortunately we may be TOO close to the holidays for backers to receive them this year... however some of you might. But I suspect most of you will receive the decks in the first days of 2022. Gambler's will provide tracking info as well--although it may be thru backerkit for North American backers.
